We got the bomb burger, classic beef burger and chips. Bomb was nice and saucy and the bacon was crispy Classic beef was delicious and had a subtle spice to it The chips were also really nice, with a good amount of salt and not soggy

The team—Mayuran, Andy, and Anna—are fantastic, offering warm service and genuine care. Though they’re just getting started, this cafe shows immense promise and will only get better with time. A must-visit!

A hidden gem close to the city, this café is an absolute beauty with its retro-style decor catering to all ages. Ambiance: The interior is thoughtfully designed, with a cozy and stylish vibe. Fun fact: many of the furnishings, including the chairs, tables, and benches, were handcrafted by Chef M and Andy, adding a unique touch of character. You have two seating options: 1. Indoors: Perfect for a cozy vibe with air conditioning—great for escaping the heat. You can choose between metallic chairs, benches, or bar stools by the window to enjoy people-watching. 2. Outdoors: Ideal for fresh air, pet-friendly seating, or accessibility needs like wheelchairs. Bonus: They provide water bowls for pets—an incredibly thoughtful touch. Customer Service: Andy gave us such a warm welcome, even while busily preparing orders—a rarity these days! Ana and a trainee server were attentive, ensuring our orders were spot-on and promptly served. Both Andy and Chef M checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying the food and invited feedback, which was lovely. The team was more than accommodating, going the extra mile to customize our orders to perfection. Food: We ordered the Bombay Sandwich—mine with cheese, no cucumber, and my vegan friend’s with cucumber, no cheese. The flavors were extraordinary! The freshness of the ingredients like beetroot, tomato, capsicum, red onions and the kick of chaat masala made for a heavenly combination. The sandwich came with crispy banana chips (fried in coconut oil) and two sauces that elevated the dish further. The green sauce was so good my friend practically drank it! Every dish leaving the kitchen looked like a masterpiece. The aroma alone was enough to tempt us to try everything—like the hand-pulled lamb dish, Okonomiyaki in the next table and the sourdough toast with mushrooms, tomatoes, poached eggs, and almonds across the room was calling my name. We’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. Drinks: As a former barista, I know how challenging it can be to perfect oat milk-based drinks. Andy nailed it! My vegan friend couldn’t stop raving about the coffee and even wanted to buy the chai mix to take home because it was that good. I also ordered a custom fresh juice with a long list of fruits and veggies—and they got the balance absolutely perfect. The variety on the drinks menu is impressive, with options ranging from coffees and teas to juices, smoothies, and indulgent hot chocolates such as hazelnut hot chocolate and caramel hot chocolate. Both are my favourites. Final Thoughts: This café exceeded all expectations. From the thoughtful service to the stunning food and drinks, everything was top-notch. Thank you, Andy, Chef M, Ana, and the team, for making our visit so memorable. We’ll be back soon to try more of your incredible seasonal menu! The perfect start to a long weekend—this was the best brunch I’ve had in ages!

A wonderful local cafe with FABULOUS COFFEE! Really. Excellent coffee! Had Royale Lamb dish and it was delicious and generous in size. Welcoming and lovely owners and staff. Very nice friendly atmosphere. A little gem of a cafe. Can totally recommend it.

First time coming here and would say one of the best burgers we had around Carnegie! Salad is so fresh you can tell the vegetables are freshly cut and serve. We will come back again for brunch as we went over dinner time :)
